SPICE UP YOUR LIFE

It's been years as in years since we last saw these girls perform and it seems like they haven't lost it! Spice Girls banded together to perform at the Closing Ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics in London and does it bring back memories!

Looking back, they were known for their wacky sense of fashion on top of peaching about girl power. And though it seems like the girls haven't lost their charm & charisma when it comes to performing, in the fashion department, things haven't changed at all - at least for 3 of them. I personally found Scary and Sporty Spice's outfits [made by Zuhair Murad and JD Sports respectively] true to their personas. Disappointing though as I would've hoped they'd get an update and have looks that are well - time appropriate and not seemingly stuck in the 90's. There was one redeeming quality about Scary's outfit though - those too good to be true glittery gold pumps! On the other hand, Ginger seems to be stuck in the middle - teetering on the edge of fashion and mishap. The dress designed by Suzanne Neville had potential, unfortunately it stayed that way as just potential sewed with tackiness.

Obviously, their 2 other bandmates Baby and Posh Spice have seen the light of day. Baby's outfit created by Maggie Cooke is definitely something that can live in this time, yet it did not compromise on Emma Bunton's spicy persona; whilst Posh is playing in a whole different level vs. the rest. Posh will always be posh and it shows fairly well in this customized and absolutely stunning Giles Deacon dress. It's no wonder her fashion line is soaring to new heights - this lady knows style!
