VERSACE for H&M STASH

As I've mentioned via my Twitter, with the crazy week I've had, I wasn't able to go to the launch of the Versace for H&M collection here in Singapore last November 17. Suffice to say, I was saddened as I wasn't able to grab hold of the pieces that I've been clamoring for weeks. Well, a ray of light struck me today. I went to H&M this morning and low and behold there were still a few pieces of the collection left and I just squealed for joy! Though I wasn't able to get any of the original pieces I was really running after, I spotted this psychedelic graphic print polo retailing for SGD 79.90, which I simply had to take!

It was several sizes too big for me but I just jumped at the chance. I tried it on and it looked like the perfect bf oversized shirt that will look amazing paired with black skinny jeans. Roll up the sleeves and I'm good to go [well, of course I'm going to have it taken in for the full brilliant effect!]

The other piece that I'm so happy I was able to take home would be the gorgeous 100% silk crocodile scarf - retailing for SGD 59.90. The feel of the fabric is sheer luxury and I've already been dreaming of the ways I can dress up shirts, bags and such with this baby.

Well, that's about it really. There were still a lot of the men's leather jackets left - even the nice studded one but I thought it would've been too hot for our weather. I was hoping to grab the pink men's shoes, but alas they're all out. I should've gone earlier and maybe I would've salvaged some more pieces. As for the women's collection, there were several shoes left and one leather bag and that was it.

The entire collection was basically gobbled up in days! And why wouldn't it? It's couture for less! Imagine the experience of luxury goods at a significant markdown - from the amazing designs to little, seemingly insignificant details such as luxury clothes hangers and shopping bags. It's fashion heaven on earth to say the least. Well, think that's about it - guess we'll all have to wait 'till the next big collaboration!
