SPOILS OF THE CLUB 21'11 BAZAAR

It's been 2 years since the last Club 21 Bazaar here in Singapore and this year was definitely a bazaar to remember! The bazaar ran from August 19 - August 21 showcasing past season collections from brands such as Calvin Klein, Armani, Balenciaga, Marni, Jill Sander, Dolce & Gabbana, and many more for up to 90% off! And as mentioned earlier, disappointed we were not!

I was there the first day for the Preview Sale for members and HSBC Cardholders, unfortunately I had only 30 minutes to go around when I arrived since I came from work and as such I ended up memorizing the layout of the bazaar to prepare for Saturday's trip. My friend though went there Friday eve and she scored 6 pairs of fabulous shoes!

My favorite of the lot would be the Balenciaga color block booties and the Giorgio Armani heels [background of the photo]. They're just divine and we can't believe that she got all of them for a fraction of the original cost!

Saturday's trip was even more fruitful. We queued up quite early to ensure first dibs at entering hallowed bazaar grounds. I ran straight away for the shoe section and spotted these amazing Dolce & Gabbana brown patent wingtip shoes.

They're simply too fab to pass up, especially considering they only cost more or less 30% of the original cost! Apart from these, I fell in love with a lot of the past season tops. My shopping bag probably had over 20 pieces that cost almost nothing! Designer tops for roughly 10% or even less of the original cost was more than enough for me to snag 3 classic pieces that transcend seasons - D&G white and beige polka dotted polo, Dolce & Gabbana silk top and a Botanika shirt by Taishi Nobukuni.

It may seem I went all out for Dolce and Gabbana pieces but I did find an amazing summer orange striped Marc Jacobs shirt, which I thought would be perfect with a pair of skinny jeans.

Also spotted this cute Calvin Klein black patent shopping tote, which I thought would make an amazing gift!

Sad to say, all good things come to an end, but in the end the trip was an experience well worth it. Kudos to the Club 21 team for another successful and amazing bazaar! Until the next bazaar!
